Kept ya waiting huh? Anyway, let's go in chronological order. Starting with my very first Gunpla, the one I bought before I even watched any Gundam in the first place, Wing Gundam Fenice.
Lil' man's old. He's missing a couple of parts and I had to be a bit boring with the pose because I was scared to break anything, but I still got lots of love for him (even tho I had to touch him up a bit because Little Kax's craftsmanship was NOT up to standard anymore)!
After him I got another Gunpla from the Build Fighters line, Sengoku Astray Gundam.
Its arms have grown stiff and I can never make sense of the legs, but as my first solo build, I still gotta lotta love for this four armed Gunpla (also I only put that mouth sticker on TODAY! Apparently I had just missed it for all these years until Iooked in the box today lmao).
Now to finally get to the sets I built this year, starting with the GOAT: Barbatos.
*Raise Your Flag intensifies*
Stickers refuse to stay on and the weight of the mace often throws 'em off. But it's my favorite Gundam so it's my favorite Gunpla too! Plus it isn't as old so I can be more creative with the posing! I actually bought this kit before starting IBO this year, but I only completed it during my watchthrough. Even had the big guy sitting near me as I had 3 individual emotional breakdowns during the final episodes.
So with the ball rolling properly, my next set was Gundam Bael.
Try posing this thing properly with *those wings* I fucking dare you-- Not my first choice, but I was in an IBO mood and this was the only IBO set I could find between two towns, so I took what I could get. It made me appreciate how Gunpla can enhance the Gundam Experience™️ however. Because it was only when I had finished it did I realize that Bael's body plan is a lot closer to the typical Gundam "shape" than the other IBO Gundams, which is an excellent touch given it's lore and what it represents in the story. Building Gunpla always reveals more about the designs of these robots that I hadn't noticed previously.
But I did get two sets that day, he other set being the Gundam featured in the show I'm watching right now, Gundam Mk-II (AEUG).
The first Gundam set that I've built that actually looks like a "normal" variation of the Gundam. It's gotta lotta extra additions as you can see, which makes it funny to look at when you put 'em all together at once. The joints are a loosey goosey however, making to very hard to pose as the slightest movements will change the whole thing (even just picking it up will cause the legs to shift). And whomever designed this neck must've been cucked by a Zeta fan or something because the neck is SO BAD IT FALLS OFF SO EASILY! One of my fave desgins tho, unfortunately it's mainly good to just look at.
After this, we finally get into the first batch of boxes I posted, starting with the Grandpa Gundam itself.
Y'all know I just HAD to make it do The Pose
This one is an Entry Grade, so I didn't need to use nippers to put it together. Still, I used it for sanding practice and am quite satisfied with the result. Majorly impressed by the engineering and detail they put into this design. I highly recommend it for a first time or even if you've got some experience, Entry Grades can be a lot of fun to build it turns out.
After that, I went from the OG straight to the newest "main" Gundam, Gundam Aerial Rebuild!
My beloved Robo-Tanuki. I see why the WFM High Grades are seen with such reverence, this thing had a LOT of detail in it (a....lot....). I like how you can see the more "feminine" design elements they gave her when you compare it to the Grandpa Gundam. And yes, all the Gunbits can be removed and combined into different formations and onto Aerial herself. I can still hardly believe it because it's just too awesome. Sadly, posing her is rather hard due to her legs not being very flexible. And the weight of her wings (?) can make it hard to balance her.
After her, I returned to my roots with Gundam Barbatos Lupus.
*Rage of Dust intensifies*
Sweet mother of God was this a pain to build. Three separate parts broke and I had to order model glue to fix them before I could continue. Not to mention that I had to use a neck-piece from another set because the original was so loose it kept falling off! But was the end result worth it? Yes...mostly. The joints are weirdly stiff, but also kinda loose? And the arms are somewhat inflexible, so trying to make it hold its sharpened mallet with two hands rarely looks good. To top it off, the arm cannons seem to be sold separately, so it looks kinda incomplete. Still, a fine addition to my collection. Now I only need the Barbatos Lupus Rex and my Barbatos shrine collection will be complete!
After that, I finally got a non-Gundam kit! Char's Zaku II!
Pretty out there build. It was nice seeing how different non-Gundam Gunpla are from the Gundam kits. The weapons never pose right and the arms keep trying to fall off, but these are the things we must accept for robot yaoi- I mean robot building. Glad to have both the Grandpa Gundam and Red Comet in my collection (for reasons unrelated to the earlier comment).
After that we get into the recent stuff. Starting off with GOD GUNDAM!
The posability of this kit is insane! To think I almost ruined it by cutting off the wrong parts (dw I fixed it). It's got a lot of extra hands, movable parts and the core fighter even comes out of the back! Definitely one of my favorite sets (now to order the Rising Gundam so I can make them kiss).
Then we get into my second non-Gundam kit and the first from the second batch I posted, Demi Barding.
Love this build. Very unique, deceptively posable and comes with a bunch of cool accessories. Chuchu supremacy. Go get it immediately!
Last is my most recent build and fourth IBO Kit (kill me), Gundam Hajiroboshi!
Sweet mother of CHRIST was it nice to build a Gundam kit that didn't have *any* white on it. Nice lavender (?) color. The design of this thing's so good it makes me want to interrupt my UC watchthrough and go through Urdr-Hunt. Very unique look for a "main" Gundam, but one I really dig. Unfortunately the kit's got some issues with balance, mainly due to the wings (?) on the back and the feet. These feet are a pain in the ass and never pose right. The front and back are too separated and rarely move in the same direction. Still, one of my favorites from a design standpoint and am certainly gonna check out Urdr-Hunt sometime to see it in action (I'm keeping Urdr-Hunt in a glass case until I absolutely *need* IBO again).
So that's all my little robot guys :D

Would anybody like to see my little robot guys? (Gunpla)?

Title: Sengoku Astray Jason
Here's an upgrade from Jason's armored OG "Astray Red Frame" 🔴⚔️, which we'll to get that, very soon. American-Japanese lived Nils Yajima 🇯🇵🇺🇸🧑🏿🦱 (formerly known as Nils Nielsen) created his owned masterpiece of a "Samurai Spirit" decked on inspiration from an actual Japanese armor and all its J-cultural glory. ⛩️🏯👹 He calls it, the "Sengoku Astray" and Jason 🐶⭐ obliged to wear! 😁
IMPORTANT NOTE: The word "Sengoku" (in Romaji "戦国") means "fighting throughout the country".
Sengoku Astray Jason Based on: 侍ノ弐 (trans: "Samurai No. 2") Sengoku Astray Gundam [CLICK ME!]
Armament(s):
Samurai Sword • The Sengoku Astray's primary weapons, called Kiku-ichimonji and Kotetsu, they are stored on top of the shoulders when not in use. By swinging the swords, the Sengoku Astray can launch shock waves, giving it ranged attack capability. This attack is strong enough to split the beam blast fired from the opponent who uses energy-based range weapons. The blades of the Samurai Swords have a particle alteration coating, and can be used to block beam attacks as well as cut through particle-based attacks and barriers. The Samurai Swords can also be used as throwing weapons.
Oni No Tate • A shield in the form of a demon face, it is normally mounted on the Sengoku Astray's back to provide rear protection. It is dismounted when additional frontal protection is required, such as when the suit is faced with heavy frontal attacks. This rarely happens to use the Samurai Swords for both defense and offense. The "eyes" of the shield can function as thrusters.
Radome Yo-Yo • A weapon given to the Sengoku Astray at random during the Original Weapon Battle. The yo-yo's string was used to wrap around an enemy's neck, and then pluck to emit an electric shock that knock the enemy out.
Axe • A normal wielded weapon that can also be used as a throwing weapon.
Hammer • This special hammer has three thrusters located at the back of its head. When the thrusters are activated, they increase the hammer's power and allow it to easily disperse multiple enemies.
Special Equipment(s)/Feature(s):
Sengoku Yoroi • Sengoku Yoroi refers to the new armor parts on the shoulders (which can also be referred to separately as 'Kata Yoroi') and around the knees that Nils created for the Sengoku Astray. They remedy the lack of armor on the original armor Astray Red Frame. The armor placement takes into account battling style and are fitted in areas where the suit is likely to get hit. The side armors of the shoulder-mounted Kata Yoroi also function as hidden arms that can be deployed to wield the Samurai Swords, or be used to perform the 'Particle Fa Jin' attack.
Particle Alteration Coating • A special coating that Nils applied on the Samurai Swords' blades. This coating changes the swords' Plavsky Particle band based on the direction of the blades, allowing them to cut through beams. The coating also allows the sword's Plavsky Particle band to match the Battle Field's control particle band, granting the Sengoku Astray the ability to cut through particle-based barrier. However, this coating can be a double-edged sword the particle band was transformed by the acceleration and this caused the blades to break as they were not adjusted to the new particle band.
Special Attack(s):
Particle Fa Jin • A melee attack derived from Chinese martial arts, it allows the Sengoku Astray to send its own Plavsky Particles into the opponent’s and destroy it from within. However, the Particle Fa Jin can be stopped if the Plavsky Particles cannot flow through. This attack can be performed using the main arms or the hidden arms.

Finally, my Sengoku Astray SD is finished... Reeaint and details ahoy, the green accents actually are painted with LIT, the most powerful glow-in-the-dark pigment in the world, from Anish Kapoor nº1 hater: Stuart Semple.
It’s been 6 months since this proyect begun, because I’m a lazy bastard. And I’m specially proud of the swords. But the more I see it the more defects I see... I need to improve with my gunpla skills... Next project, an SD Guncannon :D
